What is the “Green Fund”?
Announced by the Prime Minister, Élisabeth Borne, at the end of last August, the fund for accelerating the ecological transition in the territories, also called the Green Fund , is endowed with 2 billion euros. It aims to help local authorities accelerate their ecological transition.
The fund thus finances three types of actions:
- Strengthening environmental performance in the territories
- Their adaptation to climate change
- Improving the living environment.
Already 6,000 files have been submitted according to the ministry and €2 million requested, the majority to finance the thermal renovation of buildings, then renovate public lighting.
There is therefore €1.8 billion available to finance the energy efficiency of your public buildings.
